About this Event
This Valentine’s Day, enjoy a romantic concert featuring four delicious music + chocolate pairings.
No ordinary box of chocolates, this event is a chance to treat your senses and your loved ones while supporting the vital activities of your Sudbury Symphony and Sudbury Symphony Music Conservatory.
The evening kicks off at 7PM with music and beverages in the lobby, along with silent auction. At 7:30 the audience receives their chocolates and heads into the concert hall for the unique Symphonic Chocolates concert, approx 60 minutes long. After that, celebrate throughout the lobby and blackbox theatre with tango music and continued silent auction.
Community Impact
The Sudbury Symphony Orchestra represents our community with projects, compositions and collaborations that bring us all together in the pursuit of excellence in the arts and the expression of who we are.
Music education for young people enhances learning, intelligence, tolerance, and cultural understanding. The SSO plays an important role in this education through the Sudbury Symphony Music Conservatory, and SSO education activities and school outreach concerts.
SSO musicians tour schools and daycares, giving over 50 fun and educational performances and workshops annually. With support, the SSO and our passionate artist-educators have plans to expand our educational programming.
