The Sudbury Symphony Orchestra is a regional orchestra, with professional artistic leadership and a professional core of musicians. The ensemble is made up of a combination of professional and volunteer musicians.

The SSO looks forward to meeting new musicians in our community and is currently accepting registrations for our Community Auditions, coming up September 10, 2025. Register by September 1st, 2025. Please see Audition Information below.

The SSO will be holding auditions for the core position of Principal Cello. This position is a unique opportunity for a dynamic artist-educator to blend performance, teaching, and community engagement.
