We’re delighted to announce the SSO–SMF Emerging Artists Competition, a new partnership between the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra and the Sudbury Music Festival designed to recognize and support outstanding young musicians on their path to excellence.
Open to instrumentalists and vocalists age 25 and under, this concerto competition offers feedback, mentorship, and the grand prize winner will perform as soloist with the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra in its 2026–27 Season.
This year there are 9 participants performing on violin, guitar, saxophone, piano and trombone.
Tickets available at the door, $10 Cash or e-transfer.
