About this Performance
In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Beatles first coming to Canada, some of the finest musicians from the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra and across Greater Sudbury are coming together for two nights of a special symphony fundraiser concert. Sgt. Pepper’s Live! features the Beatles’ tunes that include instruments of the orchestra, and will culminate in a front-to-back performance of their iconic eighth studio album “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”. Hear the orchestral strings, winds, and brass join forces with the electric guitars, bass and drums of the Beatles in these iconic arrangements by Beatles producer Sir George Martin.
