About this Performance
Featuring local artist and story-teller Will Morin, this concert pairs Saint-Saens’ beloved Carnival of the Animals with the modern-day addition to this work: Carnival of OUR Animals. Composed by our own William Rowson, Carnival of OUR Animals was inspired by animals from the Pacific Northwest and created in collaboration with Coast Salish knowledge keepers. The concert concludes with Haydn’s charming and boisterous Symphony 82, ‘The Bear’.
