About this performance

The Mayor’s Celebration of the Arts is a concert presented by the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra in collaboration with the Sudbury Arts Council. This special event features Mayor Paul Lefebvre performing on both piano and saxophone, including works by the celebrated Canadian composer André Gagnon.

YES Theatre artists Rebecca Cálix and Maxwel Cull join the orchestra to perform songs from the musical Frozen.

Poet Laureate Alex Tetreault will present a new poem.

Audience members can enjoy a pop-up visual art gallery in the lobby by Northern Artists Gallery, and during the concert artist Will Morin will create an artwork live in response to the evening’s symphony music.

Celebrate the artists, organizations, and creative energy that make Greater Sudbury shine!
