Sudbury Symphony Orchestra is returning to the stage with its presentation of the SSO String Quartet at Sudbury Indie Cinema.

The SSO String Quartet is comprised of Beth Schneider-Gould (Concertmaster), Melissa Schaak (Principal 2nd Violin), Geoff McCausland (Viola), and Dobrochna Zubek (Principal Cello) and they will be presenting a program that consists of Shostakovich’s String quartet no. 8 and Tchaikovsky’s String quartet no. 1, which includes the much beloved second movement — said to have brought Leo Tolstoy to tears. The program is roughly one hour long and will be presented without intermission.

Sudbury Symphony Orchestra is looking forward to sharing this return and beautiful moment in music.

To ensure the safety of everyone, ticket sales are limited to 40 seats per concert.
