Featuring narration by April Perrin this will be a particularly engaging concert for all ages. Families will be encouraged to read Lafontaine’s fables and create puppets to bring along to the performance. Audiences will be able to enjoy the fables read between movements of Schumann. The concert also features the story of Ferdinand the Bull by Munro Leaf set to music from Bizet’s Carmen

The SSO’s String Quartet is comprised of Beth Schneider-Gould (Concertmaster), Melissa Schaak (Principal 2nd Violin), Dobrochna Zubek (Principal Cello), and Geoff McCausland (Viola).

Special pricing makes this affordable for the whole family and introduces our youngest community members to a live musical performance.

Guests age 12 and older are required to show proof of 2nd Vaccination. Masks are required inside the venue.

Public Health guidelines must be followed as implemented by the host venue. The SSO will update our audience prior to concerts.
