Debuting at sixteen with the Philharmonic State Orchestra of Romania conducted by Romeo Rimbu at the Seoul Youngsan Art Center, she has also appeared as soloist with the Starling Chamber Orchestra conducted by Jiang Huan at Werner Hall, Cincinnati, OH. Ms. Chung has also played solo recitals at Watson Hall in Cincinnati, Marshall Hall in Boston and Mazzoleni Hall in Toronto. She participated in Aspen Music Festival and School, went on tour to South Korea with Orford Academy Orchestra as Associate Principal Second who were invited by BMIMF (Busan Maru International Music Festival), and she also joined a Mozarteum Summer Academy in Salzburg, Austria. As an orchestra player, she has played with Royal Conservatory Orchestra in Koerner hall in Toronto and went on tour to Isabel Bader Center for the Performing Arts in Kingston. She played with Orchestra of Indian Hill and New England Repertory Orchestra. With Boston University Symphony, she has played in Boston Symphony Hall. She has worked with great conductors such as Peter Oundjian, Jean-François Rivest, Gábor Takács-Nagy, Leon Fleisher, Johannes Debus, and Bramwell Tovey.

Ms. Chung graduated from SunHwa Arts High School under Yookyung Min. She holds a Bachelor of Music from The College Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati, where she studied with Kurt Sassmannshaus, and a Master of Music from College of Fine Arts, Boston University, where she studied with Peter Zazofsky. She pursued an Artist Diploma Program at The Glenn Gould School, Royal Conservatory of Music under Barry Shiffman and Paul Kantor.
